What time should I get there?
TBH whenever, you're welcome at our house after 12pm once our dog is at his babysitter's place - some of you have been our friends for years, so come hang out. For our more formal guests or those with pets and bed-times, we're planning for food to get here at 6pm, so it'll be the freshest for the timely birds. The party truly starts at 6.
Can I bring a friend?
Depends, I was willy nilly with plus ones this time, but we would like to keep this at least mostly people we know. This is our first house party, go easy on us.
What's the food situation?
We're getting this one catered, so RSVP ASAP! Food will be ready to eat at 6pm. We know we have some vegetarians in the room, also those with nut allergies, so we'll have options for y'all. If you have a food sensitivity that we should know about, please text or email Lizzi.
Drinks will include themed alcoholic and non-alcoholic bevs. Bring a water bottle if you plan to partake in spirits, stay hydrated or else.
How do we get there?
For public transit riders, we are a short Metro bus ride (29K) away from the King St. Metro station. Dash Bus 30, which is free, is also a good option.
For drivers, plug in our address (you won't find it on this website, keep your invite please). We are on the service road visible from the main road. Please park your car down on Wheeler Avenue by the train tracks to be considerate of our neighbors. What have they ever done to you??
For uber-takers, keep an eye out for those free drunk ride home vouchers for such occassions. If I see a link, I'll add it here. Sometimes when I'm drunk I get generous, but don't bank on it!
What should I wear?
Alien-themed parties ask for alien-themed costumes. Get funky with it! Anything from straight up a grey alien to a cow would work. Can you embody the language of the Arrival aliens with paper mache? Do it!
