Questions I assume would be asked at a high frequence:

What time should I get there?

We're planning for food to be ready at 6:30 p.m., which is when the party truly starts. Feel free to arrive as early as 5:30 p.m. for chill hangs.

Can I bring a friend or significant other?

Only if you got a second invite in your envelope, we'd like to keep this mainly full of known entities. This is our first house party, go easy on us.

What's the food situation?

We're making ribs, mac, and two drinks, but you're always welcome to bring a sidedish, snack, or bev of choice. I'd say it's a good opportunity to show off your ecclectic tastes.

Drinks will include themed alcoholic and non-alcoholic bevs.

How do we get there?

For public transit riders, we are a short Metro bus ride (MetroBus 29K and 29N or the FREE Dash Bus 30) away from the King St. Metro station. For drivers, plug in our address (you won't find it on this website, keep your invite please). Please park your car down Early St. or by Wheeler Ave.

How do I get home?

If you took public transit here, you can get $15 off a Lyft after 3pm on Saturday, Oct. 26. Visit
soberride.com for the code, which will be visible after 3PM on Saturday, October 26.

What should I wear?

Alien-themed parties ask for alien-themed costumes. Get funky with it! Anything from straight up a grey alien to something esoteric is cool. Can you embody the language of the Arrival aliens with paper mache? Do it! Here are some links for idea-spawning: Wiki List of Aliens in Movies or Party Pinterest Board

I don't have a costume, can I still come?

For sure, you'll just have to wear our alien sunglasses the whole night.
